Living in an information tsunami
Dear brothers and sisters
Rapid change, constant change affects every area of our lives. There is a great danger of becoming permanently driven, even or especially as a follower of Jesus. For most people, the only constant in life now seems to be constant change. Anything else would be stagnation. And that, the world suggests, means being left behind, no longer belonging, being yesterday's news, etc. And this also applies to the church and the Christian community, which opens the door to the zeitgeist and prostitutes and ingratiates itself by conforming. They no longer want to talk about sin, for example, because nobody understands it anyway (we'll just have to explain it to them), but prefer to talk about human dignity. That goes down better because . . .
